2-PAT

2-PAT, an analogue of Rasagiline and Selegiline, a reversible MAO-A inhibitor with an IC50 of 0.721 μM. 2-PAT is an inactivator of MAO-B with an IC50 of 14.6 μM. 2-PAT has the potential for Parkinson’s disorder and depression research. 2-PAT is a click chemistry reagent, it contains an Alkyne group and can undergo copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAc) with molecules containing Azide groups.
